Year 8 Hurling Blitz

Today St. Patrick’s, Downpatrick hosted a Year 8 blitz with St. Malachys Belfast leaving victorious.
Maith sibh to all who took part and go raibh maith agat to St. Patrick’s, Downpatrick for coordinating this competition.
The Year 8 hurlers got a taste of Ulster Schools’ hurling . St. Patrick’s, Downpatrick had a few tough games early in the day but a strong finish in the group stages against St. Colman’s Newry put them in the Shield Final against Coláiste Feirste. Congratulation to the Blitz winners, St. Malachy’s College, Belfast and runners up, St. Colman’s College Newry.
