⭐️ FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE MONTH ⭐️
Alongside our sponsors Danske Bank, Ulster Schools recognise the achievements of a footballer and hurler every month from across the spectrum of ongoing games and competitions.
For December, the Danske Bank Football Player of the Month is Ruairi Canavan from St Ciaran’s Ballygawley.
Ruairi becomes the first football player to collect our Player of the Month award for a second time, having claimed his first award in December 2019 after captaining St Ciaran’s to the Arthurs Cup title.
Two years on, and it is his individual displays for St Ciaran’s in this years Danske Bank U19 Markey Cup which have set him apart. Despite losing both their group games and failing to progress to the knockout stages, Ruairi turned in two remarkable performances against Virginia College and neighbours Dean Maguirc Carrickmore, against whom he score his sides entire tally of 3-08.
Comhghairdeas Ruairi 👏🏻
