Alongside our sponsors, Danske Bank, Ulster Schools GAA recognises the achievements of a footballer and hurler every month from across the spectrum of ongoing games and competitions.

For April, the Football Player of the Month is Ryan Kelly from Edmund Rice College.

Ryan is a member of St Edna’s GAC Glengormley and plays Corner Forward on the U19 Edmund Rice winning team. Ryan scored 7 points in the final making a difference in the game. The school progressed to the Nolan Cup Final in early April at Ballymacnab Round Towers GAC. With a tight game throught the competition Edmund Rice defeated Shimna Integrated College.
