For January, the Football Player of the Month is Finn Sherlock from St Aidan’s Cootehill.
Finn is a member of the Cootehill Celtic GAA club in Cavan and was captain of the successful Danske Bank U14.5 Gerry Brown Cup winning side. Usually playing at left-half back, Finn was a regular on the scoresheet for Saint Aidan’s as they emerged victorious in last months decider. His commitment and dedication to his club, school and teammates has been exemplary. A true all-round sportsperson, Finn has also represented the Republic of Ireland soccer team at U15 level.
